Friday 18th November 2022

Our final girls' football session this morning for Y5/6.
Another set of skills to develop and a game at the end too!
Well done to the girls this morning, who also had to battle the weather too! Although not too wet, it was very cold!
Well done to all 6 year groups who have taken part in these festivals and a massive thank you to Rochdale Borough School Games Partnership and to the girls who led the sessions from Hopwood Hall College
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Wednesday 2nd November 2022

The Y3/4 squad took part in a skills festival with RBSGP, focusing on some of the technical aspects of the game. We then ended with the biggest game of Robbing the Nest you've ever seen!
All 12 had a ball and Miss I was super impressed! Well done guys!

Monday 17th October 2022

The KS2 girls football team made their debut in the RBSGP Girls Autumn League. The girls played extremely well against the other schools in their first two fixtures with the scores as follows;
Holy Trinity 1 v 0 St Vincent's (Jemma)
Holy Trinity 1 v 2 Bowlee (Maisie S)
The girls had a great first trip out as a team and were a credit to school!

Friday 4th November 2022

10 Y1/2 girls were chosen to come and have a go at football. We attended a skills festival where the Hopwood Hall Girls' Academy led some training sessions for the 10 girls, showing them how to kick a ball, how to shoot and also how to have fun playing! Our girls then went into a couple of matches v Broadfield.

Wednesday 19th October 2022

12 children from year 3 and 4 took part in the RBSGP Cross-Country event at Falinge Park High School.
All 12 children were amazing and did HT proud! They tried their absolute best and have all come away with smiles on their faces! A couple asked if they could do it again!
We even had a lost shoe from Jude on the start line and he managed to catch up the group and come in the top 10!

Friday 11th November 2022

Once again some of our girls attended a skills festival where the Hopwood Hall Girls' Academy led some training sessions for the 10 girls, showing them a variety of skills including passing, shooting and dribbling. This time, the festival was aimed at Y3/4.
The girls had a blast learning some new skills, or improving the ones they already had. We then went into a couple of games v Broadfield and then St Joseph's.
We also took part in a two minutes silence for Remembrance Day.
A couple of mentions to Cora for her cracking goal, Jemma for her spectacular saves and Abbie for her superb defending in the first game!
Wednesday 19th October 2022
Yet again all our Y5/6 runners gave their all and upheld the Holy Trinity ethos the entire afternoon, continuing on from this morning! It was BRUTAL! The wind, the hill, the anticipation - everything!
Our runners can be very proud of their runs today! Great job!
