FoHT - About us
We are a group of people that is made up of parents, grandparents, teachers and other members of the community who work together to raise extra funds that go toward supporting the school and more importantly its pupils.
We get together roughly once every half term to discuss what events are coming up and look at ways to make sure the events are as successful as possible.
Some of the events arranged by FoHT over the last year are the Christmas and Summer Fairs, Film Night, School/Family Discos, Mothers and Fathers day gift shops. We also arrange various other fund raising activities such as the personalised Christmas Cards.
The funds we raise are used in two ways;
- Firstly, we like to reward the children of Holy Trinity. We do this with things like Christmas Presents for each child and also the Easter Bounce where each class take turns on a bouncy castle and receive an Easter Egg. We also like to welcome each new Reception child to Holy Trinity with a Bible.
- The other way that the funds are used is to contribute to the resources in school. Some of the things that FoHT have funded are high visibility jackets for school trips, a keyboard for music lessons and most recently a suite of 30 iPads that each and every child in school will benefit from.
