On Tuesday 30th January, Miss Ingham and Mrs Muncaster took the Mini Stars to an athletics tournament. They took part in lots of different activities and were incredible! Behaviour was impeccible and their team spirit didn't go unnoticed. The 8 children from Years 1 & 2 were chosen by the leaders for the School Spirit Award. Well done guys!

Well done to the Year 5 and 6 athletics team, who took part in Sports Hall Athletics on Thursday 11th January. Each child took part in 2, 3 or 4 events and put their all into each one! Well done to you all!

A huge well done to the 8 children who took part in Sports Hall Athletics on Monday 13th November! They took part in some events which they haven’t even heard of and were incredible!! Overall, as a team, we came a fantastic second place and really does start the Athletics season off on a high!! Well done guys!!

10 children from Year 5/6 took part in QuadKids. Each child had to compete in a long jump, a howler throw, 600m race and an 80m sprint.

Every child put in 100% and were able to qualify, in first place, for the county finals.

At the county finals, #TeamHT came 7th overall and again displayed superb sportsmanship, resilience and perseverance. The same day as these 10 children competed in the finals, they went straight to Kingsway Park for another athletics events.

As well as Years 5 and 6 competing in athletic events this year, Mr Allen also took our 'Mini Stars' (Year 1 and 2). These children showed excellent perseverance and determination, which was recognised by the leaders and rewarded with a special award. Well done 'Mini Stars'!
